  HAPPY DAZE &ROADWAYS

The road provides us with amazing views. Imagine life without roads,we would not be able to see the world as much as we have. In fact you would not be able to drive and go surf in the morning, or go to the store and get your healthy produce. Driving on roads with holes the size of the car make you really appreciate some nice pavement.

This mechanic took our gas tank out for no reason at all. Most of the time it was just a tool rental service.

Everyone wanted to ride shotgun.
The whole trip we were dreaming of old classics.

These guys were really cool.

We decided to drive to the highest altitude ever reached with the beetle.

Christianity and profanity

I invited these guys to come sailing on the crackerjack.....They were soo stoked...

Thanks to a good friend in Lima Rafael Buenavides. We scored this classic beetle to cruise  the coast of Peru in search of waves in style.Constantly pulling up to empty point breaks we had no problems. No flash car = Not getting robbed = love from the locals=no police bribes......
Testing out the JC Dominator in some small point break surf.

El Muelles was a favorite spot for me to spend some time surrounded by water and eating sand. It felt like skateboarding through a sewer pipe going 50MPH.
Driving the whole coast of Peru with my best bud Jeff Ward was the experience of a lifetime. The VW cruised at a comfortable pace of around 80km allowing us to take in all the sights and sounds of the country. Why do we drive so fast? Where does it get us? Take a second and ask yourself why do so many people live fast paced lives. Slow down and enjoy the people and places around you, share a smile with someone in passing and I am sure it will be returned. These are the things that traveling teaches us as humans. Its a constant reminder that if you think positive and live a happy life, It will reflect to everything around you. Thanks Peru for everything you offered to us.

I love street art. Its an expression that is done with the intention of purity, and sharing something that is not so often seen in today's world. These are some of the many incredible pieces that I have seen in my travels in Brazil, And I have to give lots of respect to the artist that have painted these for our many eyes to see. ENJOY

These guys were the original creators of the big hit TV show NINJA TURTLES

BUDDHA PARTY

SAO PAULO is full of some real interesting people.

The rain wizard collects rain water and magical objects from the street to bring home to his castle.

Spent some time cruising around the 2nd largest city in the world, Land locked for a bit while we wait for the next swell. I started to understand Big city life and how the system works, The sad thing is for the most part it does not work. People are struggling to get by whilst others are eating caviar for lunch in there Mercedes Benz. Why would so many people want to live in one place? My grandpa always used to says " Different strokes for different folks" after 83years of looking at life, I am pretty sure he is correct.

Just finish having a session at a left wedge that reminded me of one of my favorite waves in the Caribbean. Dani buckled here board prior to this trip and we stopped in to one of the raddest shops I have seen in a while OFICINA DAS PRANCHAS to get it fixed. Its a shop that makes you feel right at home, the smell of resin, grommits running around everywhere, bro's talking story, and the power planer ripping out a new shape. The owner was stoked to show me around and was truly amped on board design, surfing, and experimenting with all sorts of wave riding craft. There are very few shops these days where you go in and the man behind the counter is truly high on riding waves and the culture it brings with it. Setup with UV lights and a team of frothing groms, they promise a 3 HR turnaround with small dings and cracks. Bang there it was ready for the next session and many more to come. THANKS VINICIUS............
